Come and join us for carols, mulled wine and shopping in aid of World Vision and Cancer Research

We’re supporting Julia Wenlock from Toot Sweets on Butcher Row next week in her bid to raise money for charity with an evening of carols and shopping. It’s taking place at St Julian’s Church off the High Street on 9 December from 6-9pm. There will be a selection of lovely independent retailers, including us, the Nice Cream Company selling beautiful gifts and treats for Christmas. Singers from the Shropshire Youth Choir will also be performing some festive favourites and there will be a raffle. Cakes, Mulled Wine and Chocolates will also be available! All the money raised will be going towards Julia’s fund-raising for Kilimanjaro 2010 so come along. Her climb is supporting World Vision & Cancer Research UK and she is hoping to raise £10,000 to be split between the two charities.
